Modified Stem of a plant

Modified stems are stems that do not look or grow like usual plant stems. For example, this potato is a tuber. A tuber is a enlarged underground stem. They store food in the form of starch. Aerial stems and leaves will grow from the buds in the “eyes” of the potato. Therefore, potatoes can grow from planting their eyes.
