Pollen contains the microgametophytes  of seed plants which produce the male gametes. Pollens hard coat allows it to move through the stamen to pistil in order to germinate and produce a pollen tube  to transfer the sperm from the pollen to the ovule of the plant’s ovary. This photo contains possibly millions of grains of pollen, most of which are clumped up into piles. An individual pollen would take magnification to see in detail.
