Modified leaf of a plant

Plants develop modified leaves when they evolve are in harsh conditions overtime. The venus fly trap is a good example of modified leaves because they grow in nitrogen poor soil, so to overcome this, the venus fly trap adapted so that it could catch animals in its leaves. It then digests it’s prey for a great source of nitrogen. Some of it’s leaves have been modified from being used for photosynthesis to being used to capture prey.
