Connective Tissue

Connective tissue is a group of tissues in the body that maintains the form of the body and its organs and provides internal support and cohesion. Several types of fibrous tissues are included in connective tissue. Connective tissues include bone, ligaments, tendons, cartilage and adipose tissue. Blood vessels pass trough connective tissue which is associated with the nourishment of tissues and organs. The picture shows that connective tissue located on the human elbow.
