Gibberellins

Gibberellins are plant hormones that speed up plant growth. They are naturally found in the roots and young leaves of plants and are used as growth regulators. The primary effect of gibberellins is to promote cell elongation and division. A combination of auxins and gibberellins are used in fruit developement in apples, pears, and grapes.
