What did you think about the reading?
I really enjoy the fact that i am learning a lot without really feeling like i am studying anything. neil Shubin manages to make to informative without just spitting out textbook facts. He adds personal anecdotes and short side topics that make it more than just a learning experience.
What did you learn in the reading?
It surprised me that people from 1920 didnt know about fossils. Considering how long humans have been educated and civilized, i would have guessed that fossils were well known in 1920-1960. It was interesting to know how collagen filled the the spaces between cartilage cells and how they expand.
What questions do you still have about the reading?
Is it possible for fish to have air receptor genes even though they may be functionless? and visa versa
