Calvin Cycle

The Calvin cycle is a set of reactions that plants use to convert carbon dioxide into carbohydrates. The Calvin cycle is the second stage of photosynthesis and takes place within the stroma of the chloroplasts in leaves such as the ones shown in the picture.
