Endosperm

Endosperm is the tissue that surrounds the seed’s embryo as it begins to grow.  The endosperm provides food for the seed during its dormant state. Certain plants keep their endosperms longer than others and because of this it makes the plant good for the human health. The coconuts above have an endosperm.
