Prokaryote

A prokaryote is an organism with prokaryotic cells. Prokaryotic cells lack a membrane bound nucleus and membrane bound organelles. Prokaryotes are found in two domains: archaea and bacteria. They are usually unicellular.  Prokaryotic populations thrive on common household items like this TV remote.
