At a local Starbucks, the human species shows a perfect example of altruistic behavior. Altruism is a type of behavior in which one organism attempts to help another one at their own self-loss with no benefit whatsoever. The humans that are giving money to the less fortunate under payed minimum-wage workers, are being altruistic. Though the person giving money is losing money, they are helping someone else for no reason.
