Homeostasis

Homeostasis

Homeostasis is the ability for an organism or cell to maintain its appropriate internal conditions. The endocrine and the nervous system help control homeostasis by getting feedback from the environment. Homeostatic processes in the body include temperature regulation, water and electrolyte balance, ph balance, respiration and blood pressure. A cat is an example of an organism that is exhibiting homeostasis.
