The image above shows lamb chops, which on them, is connective tissue. Connective tissue is one of the four types of tissues of animals. The other tissues include nervous tissue, muscular tissue, and epithelial tissue. Connective tissue provides internal support, connects other tissues and organs, and separates other forms of tissues from each other. When this lamb was alive, the connective tissue inside it would have held its internal organs in place and connected its muscles, bones and other tissues.
