The image above shows the leaves of a fern in Florida. Fern’s leaves are called fronds, which are large divided leaves. Fronds, unlike most leaves have petioles that are called stripes, which becomes the rachis. Ferns are not the only plants which have fronds, both palm tree’s leaves, and the thallus of seaweed have fronds
