Hermaphrodite

Hermaphrodites are organisms that have both female and male structures. One general example of a hermaphrodite is this flower shown in the picture above. Hermaphroditic organisms do not have separate female and male sexes. Other animals that are hermaphrodites include jellyfish, slugs, gastropods, and snails. There are very few hermaphroditic vertebrae but they include humans and fish.
