Glycogen

Glycogen the storage form of glucose is part of the energy storage in our bodies and in every animal’s body. Thus, it is commonly found in any food rich in carbohydrates, such as oatmeal as pictured above. Glycogen is found in the liver and muscles of most animals. Most glycogen stored is converted into fat.
