Homeostasis

Homeostasis

Homeostasis is the regulation of the body temperature and pH in an organism. This is important in order to maintain and keep an internal balance in the animal. Depending on what is needed, positive or negative feedback is a response. If this regulation does not occur, the cells of any organism begin to die, resulting in the death of the animal as a whole. Shrimps use homeostasis to stay in balance.
